Seville, 12 May 2025. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with more than 100 years of history and 115 projects under development nationwide, has obtained planning permission for Residencial Urbión, a new 46-home complex located in the exclusive new Isla Natura neighbourhood, south of Los Bermejales, next to the Lagoh shopping centre.

The project, designed by the prestigious architectural studio ‘Orfila 11’ and with a planned investment of 12 million euros, includes homes with 1 to 4 bedrooms, spacious living rooms with access to terraces, penthouses and top quality finishes. In addition, the development offers communal areas designed for comfort and community living, with a swimming pool and garden areas.

Commitment to sustainability

In line with its commitment to sustainability, Metrovacesa has designed Residencial Urbión under criteria of energy efficiency and respect for the environment. The homes will have high performance thermal insulation, continuous cladding and the best orientations to favour thermal comfort and luminosity.

The domestic hot water production system will be based on renewable energies, helping to reduce the building’s environmental impact. These measures will enable Residencial Urbión to achieve the maximum “A” energy rating, both in terms of consumption and CO₂ emissions.

The project also forms part of Metrovacesa’s sustainability strategy, reflected in its Domum seal, the awarding of the Green Seal (Sustainable Building Rating) and the application of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in its residential developments.

Isla Natura: a green and connected neighbourhood

Residencial Urbión is located in the heart of Isla Natura, a new neighbourhood designed with criteria of environmental regeneration and sustainable urban planning. This development extends over more than 67 hectares and forms part of Seville’s future green ring.

The area will have more than 4,200 trees, large green areas, educational, sports and social facilities, as well as infrastructures aimed at sustainable mobility, such as pedestrian streets, bicycle lanes and acoustic attenuation pavements.
