Seville, 6 August 2025. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with over 100 years of history, has begun handing over homes in the Himalaya Residential Complex, located in the sustainable neighbourhood of Isla Natura, south of Seville. This week, it is estimated that 70 of the 108 homes that make up the development will be handed over. The total investment in the project amounts to 24.1 million euros.

The development, consisting of 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom multi-family homes, has been designed with a modern and functional architectural approach. All homes have a parking space and storage room, as well as large terraces, gardens on the ground floor and solariums in the penthouses. The complex has common areas that include a swimming pool, children’s area, landscaped spaces and bicycle parking.

Residencial Himalaya stands out for its high energy efficiency, with an “A” rating, and for having obtained the Green Seal from the Green Building Council Spain (GBCe). Its sustainable measures include the installation of aerothermal systems for the production of domestic hot water, a design that promotes cross ventilation and the optimal use of sunlight.

‘The delivery of Residencial Himalaya represents a new step forward in the development of Isla Natura, one of the most ambitious urban regeneration projects in Seville. At Metrovacesa, we remain committed to a model of quality, sustainable housing that is adapted to new ways of living,’ said David Leon Macias, Development Manager for Western Andalusia at Metrovacesa.

The development is part of the Isla Natura urban transformation plan, where Metrovacesa is promoting more than 20 residential developments. This new sustainable neighbourhood, located in Palmas Altas, covers more than 67 hectares, with extensive green areas, infrastructure geared towards active mobility and urban planning focused on energy efficiency and respect for the environment. In terms of deliveries, Himalaya joins those made in 2024 —Nilo, Sena, Mulhacén, Kilimanjaro, Mont Blanc and Volga— which together total some 373 homes. So far in 2025, Teide has already been delivered, and Navacerrada, Tiber, K2 and the subsidised housing in Sierra de Cazorla and Sierra Morena are expected to be added in the coming months.
