Team and strategic collaboration
The Catalonia and Balearic Islands office has a multidisciplinary team made up of 25 professionals ranging from technical and administrative management to marketing. In addition, Metrovacesa works hand in hand with local partners, including more than 20 architectural firms, 8 construction companies, 3 interior design teams and several marketing companies, as well as its own commercial area, Metrovacesa Comercial.
Gemma Mira, Manager of Developments in the Delegation, underlines the importance of these alliances: ‘For each project, we rely on local partners who know the specific needs of the market. From design to execution, their professionals participate in each development, ensuring a proposal that combines quality, sustainability and functionality’.
Aro Residences: a landmark in Girona
The most recent project launched in Catalonia is Aro Residences, located in the heart of the Costa Brava in Platja d’Aro, with a total investment of 22 million euros. This development of 82 homes marks Metrovacesa’s entry into the province of Girona, consolidating its presence throughout the region. Mira explained how the project was designed: ‘We studied the Platja d’Aro market and the needs of potential customers in depth through detailed surveys. The result is a project that combines ground floors with gardens, penthouses with large terraces and communal areas designed to enjoy the natural surroundings and views of the Parc dels Estanys, an emblematic green lung of the Costa Brava’.
Commitment to sustainability and adapted design
Metrovacesa continues to be committed to projects that integrate sustainable solutions, such as the implementation of native vegetation in gardens, reduction of environmental impact and the design of homes adapted to the needs of the client. In the words of Jesús Osorio: ‘Our commitment to sustainable development is present in every decision, from land acquisition to project conceptualisation. Aro Residences is a clear example of how we want to continue to lead innovation and quality in property development in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands’.
Outstanding projects in Catalonia
In addition to its emblematic Aro Residences project, Metrovacesa continues to consolidate its presence in Catalonia with the development of other major residential projects. These include the completion of La Sínia and the forthcoming delivery of L’Illa de la Sinia in Martorell, with a total of 39 homes, which will be added to the 106 homes already delivered in phase 1.
In Viladecans, the developer has recently completed Oliveretes, a project that has placed 95 homes on the market, reinforcing its commitment to urban expansion in the metropolitan area of Barcelona. Likewise, in Terrassa, Metrovacesa is promoting Nou Vallparadís, an ambitious development of 142 homes that promises to significantly transform both the city and its surrounding neighbourhoods.
