- Metrovacesa once again attends this year’s real estate event with its proposals in the Community of Madrid in different municipalities.

Madrid, 22 May 2024. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer, with over one hundred years of history and more than 115 projects under development nationwide, will be present at this year’s SIMA 2024 in Madrid. In this new edition, the listed company will present its most outstanding projects in the capital as a proposal to provide a solution to the need for new housing in Madrid.
SIMA, the leading real estate event in Spain, will take place in its 25th edition in 2024 between 22 and 25 May at Madrid IFEMA. As usual, the event brings together the different relevant players in the real estate sector, both national and global. Reflecting the market, this year’s event will address the complexities of the industry, as well as the diversified environment in which the developer operates.
In this sectoral ecosystem, Metrovacesa, as the real estate developer with the largest portfolio of liquid land in the country, will present its most important residential developments in Madrid, as well as two large urban developments in the region.
In Madrid, the developer presents Mesena 80-82, two developments that make up a residential complex of 159 multi-family homes in the heart of Arturo Soria, in the district of Hortaleza, which is currently under construction. These developments have various communal areas, which provide Mesena with play areas, gastroteca, gymnasium, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and landscaping that respects native species. The homes, designed by architect Carlos Lamela with sustainability as a major focus, combine optimal maintenance and durability with high thermal and acoustic comfort features: maximum energy efficiency rating Level A, BREEAM certificate, integrated electric vehicle chargers, cooling underfloor heating, excellent thermal-acoustic insulation, double orientation, heat recovery and geothermal energy.
A few kilometres from Madrid, Metrovacesa is developing Residencial Azahara, with 94 multi-family homes equipped with the best qualities. Currently under construction, this development in Valdemoro balances access to peaceful green areas with proximity to the city. With A-A ratings for emissions and consumption, and elements of adaptation and respect for the environment, the building contains different types of homes such as penthouses, ground floor apartments with gardens or other layouts with outdoor terraces.
In all these developments, Metrovacesa also seeks to have a positive impact on the communities in which it operates. For this reason, initiatives are carried out that promote participatory urban planning through its sustainable urban development department, which takes into account people, the environment and the local economy. This translates into an improvement of the environment in these urban developments and the adaptation to the different current needs such as pavements, lighting or accesses, among others.
Under these urban development premises, Metrovacesa is presenting at SIMA its proposal to boost the tension in the real estate market in large capital cities with two of its major urban developments in the Madrid region. With Arpo in Pozuelo and Los Cerros in the Vicálvaro district of the capital, bringing together 256 and 2,800 homes respectively, the developer is developing new urban development models that respect citizens and the environment, meeting a demand that has been growing in recent years. Among other features, sustainable construction, a commitment to innovation and the promotion of corporate partnerships are the cornerstones guiding the development of these Metrovacesa developments.
