Metrovacesa starts the commercialisation of Plathea, a subsidised housing development in Sagunto

Puerto de Sagunto, 23rd September 2024. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with more than one hundred years of history and more than 113 projects under development nationwide, begins marketing its new subsidised housing development, Plathea, in Puerto de Sagunto. The developer estimates an investment of 24.5 million euros for the urban development, which will offer sustainable subsidised housing.

Plathea is a residential complex offering 157 two- and three-bedroom homes, all of which have terraces, storage rooms and private garages. It also has communal areas such as an outdoor swimming pool, and is located just a few metres from the beach.

Metrovacesa reaffirms its commitment to developing homes accessible to all, and conceives Plathea with a modern design, developed by the TCH Arquitectura studio. To do so, it uses high quality materials, taking into account the minimisation of the environmental impact on the surroundings.

Committed to sustainability, Plathea has also been designed taking into account the climatic and landscape characteristics of the area. The development incorporates systems that optimise the use of resources, reduce the water footprint and improve energy efficiency. Metrovacesa has also implemented the life cycle analysis tool to assess and minimise the environmental impact at each stage of the project.

Port of Sagunto: a key area for Metrovacesa

The Valencian Community has established itself as a strategic enclave for Metrovacesa, with a special focus on Puerto de Sagunto. This area has been a fundamental pillar of the company’s business plan, which has accumulated extensive experience in the locality with a total of 18 active developments with more than 500 homes.

Metrovacesa currently has three active developments in Sagunto, Plathea, Residencial Allegro and Aurada, totalling 348 homes. Since 2018, the developer has delivered more than 233 additional homes distributed in six developments: Aida, Opera, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin and Vivaldi.

Plathea is located in a strategic point, between the sea and the mountains. Residents will be able to enjoy the proximity of several natural parks, such as the Serra Calderona and the cultural and gastronomic offer offered by a large city like Valencia, located only 25 km away. Sagunto offers its own cultural offer and is equipped with all essential services, including supermarkets, schools, health centres, leisure facilities, access to public transport and one of the best beaches on the Valencian coastline.

In the same area, the developer is preparing to start delivering the first homes in its Residencial Aurada complex, comprising 78 multi-family homes with two to four bedrooms. This residential development includes a garage, storage room and terrace, as well as gardens and children’s areas, adapting the design to the diverse needs of future residents. Like Plathea, the Aurada development is conceived under the same sustainability standards; both complexes have the Sustainable Green Seal and the DOMUM certificate.
