Metrovacesa obtains building permit for Abril, its new residential development in Casares, Malaga.

Malaga, 20th November 2024. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with more than 100 years of history and 114 developments under development nationwide, obtains the building permit for Abril, a multi-family development in Casares, Malaga. For the development of the project, the developer estimates an investment of 18.3 million euros.

Abril is the developer’s new residential development on the Costa del Sol, offering 65 multi-family homes with 2 and 3 bedrooms, all with garages and storage rooms. The units have different layouts, from ground floor apartments with gardens to penthouses with large terraces. In addition, it includes a wide variety of leisure areas such as infinity pool with beach, gym, spa, zen and calisthenics area, gazebo and garden areas, among others.

The development has been designed by Mad Arquitectura with the aim of offering a modern approach to design and comfort for its future inhabitants. Top quality materials will be used in both the homes and the communal areas, prioritising the luminosity and comfort of all the spaces. In addition, future owners will be able to personalise their home by choosing different finishes, such as flooring and wall coverings, thanks to Metrovacesa’s ‘Choose your look’ tool.

In line with Metrovacesa’s commitment to the environment, the developer has used Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) from the initial stages of the conception of the residential space. With this tool, it can measure and analyse the environmental impact throughout all its phases, which facilitates the detection of areas for improvement. In addition, it encourages the adoption of measures in terms of environmental sustainability and energy efficiency, as well as better strategic decision-making and regulatory compliance.

Residencial Abril has the developer’s own Sello Verde de Edificio Sostenible and Domum certifications. The residential complex also has A-A ratings for energy consumption andCO2 emissions. Other measures include self-consumption and aerothermal installations, guaranteeing energy efficiency and care for water resources.

The Costa del Sol with Metrovacesa’s seal of approval

The developer has a traditionally extensive presence on the Costa del Sol, in regions such as Marbella, Manilva, Benahavís, Estepona and Torremolinos. Its focus covers both coastal and inland areas, allowing it to adapt its new-build properties to the different needs of the market.
