Seville, 14 March 2025. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with more than 100 years of history and 114 projects under development nationwide, will participate in the Welcome Home Sevilla 2025 event, to be held on 14 and 15 March. The event will give the company the opportunity to present its most innovative developments.

Seville has established itself as a focus of population growth thanks to its wide range of cultural, employment and leisure activities, which makes it a city with a high demand for new housing. In this context, Metrovacesa is committed to a sustainable urban planning model, promoting the development of new quality housing that respects the environment. Through its sustainability policies, the developer seeks not only to respond to the demand for housing, but also to contribute to urban development in order to improve territories and communities.

The company has recently launched Torrenova, its second development in the area, located in La Cruz del Campo next to Nervión. This residential development offers 2 to 4 bedroom homes distributed in a multi-family building with 104 homes. These urban developments are committed to environments that combine design, efficiency and wellbeing. With the aim of improving the quality of life of the residents, these complexes integrate large landscaped communal areas and generous spaces that complement the functionality of each home. The spaciousness of the spaces, together with large windows and terraces, marks a key difference in the residential offer within urban centres, achieving a balance between comfort, design and respect for the environment.

In addition, as a promoter of sustainability, another of its residential developments, Torremagna, has been built in the former CruzCampo factory, with 91 homes with 2 to 4 bedrooms.

At the end of last year Metrovacesa also went on sale with the first phase of Residencial Erithea. This residential development consists of 97 homes with 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms. This development is located in Entrenúcleo, the best area for expansion, between Seville and Dos Hermanas and very close to Montequinto. With direct access to the SE 40 and SE 30 ring roads, very close to the access to the AP4 motorway, and to the Line 1 Metro station.

Isla Natura as a benchmark for urban innovation and sustainability

One of Metrovacesa’s most innovative projects has been the creation of the Isla Natura sustainable neighbourhood in Palmas Altas. This neighbourhood was born as the city of the future of Seville, as a Smart City model, consolidating itself as a benchmark in innovation and urban sustainability.

The neighbourhood, which will be a green lung thanks to the installation of landscaped areas with more than 4,000 trees, offers 67 hectares and more than 180,000 square metres of green areas and public spaces of interest, offering a great incentive in which to develop daily life with high standards of quality of life.

Isla Natura markets more than 350 homes in its 13 developments that still have supply available, with multi-family residences in Residencial Timanfaya, Residencial Urbión, Residencial Veleta, Residencial K2, Residencial Aneto, Residencial Etna, Residencial Navacerrada, Torre Arenal, Residencial Teide and Residencial Himalaya; as well as single-family homes in Villas del Támesis, Villas del Tíber and Villas del Sena.

The developer has sold 75% of the homes marketed to date in Isla Natura, corresponding to 22 projects between free and subsidised housing developments in recent years.

Commitment to sustainable urban planning

With these projects, Metrovacesa reinforces its role as a driver of urban development in Seville, committed to quality of life, efficiency and innovative design. Metrovacesa not only offers high quality housing, but also contributes to the transformation and modernisation of the city’s urban fabric, adapting to the new demands of the real estate market.

These residences have the highest energy certification, achieving an ‘A’ rating in both energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. In addition, their commitment to sustainable construction is endorsed by the Metrovacesa Domum seal and the Green Seal (Sustainable Building Rating). Furthermore, the projects have been subjected to a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), consolidating its position as a benchmark in eco-efficient and environmentally friendly housing.
