Metrovacesa and Sierra Blanca Estates sign an agreement with the Malaga actor to promote the image of Malaga and Picasso Towers throughout the world.
A new project seduces Malaga actor Antonio Banderas. The Picasso Towers development unites the sea of his hometown with one of the characters that has marked his life, Pablo Ruiz Picasso.
The developers responsible for the Picasso Towers project, Metrovacesa and Sierra Blanca Estates, have formalised an agreement with Antonio Banderas through which the Malaga actor will be the image of one of the most significant urban development projects for the city of Malaga in recent years.
Metrovacesa, Sierra Blanca Estates and Antonio Banderas understand the importance of joining forces to promote projects that are as important for Malaga as Picasso Towers is. According to Miguel Fajardo, manager of the Picasso Towers development, “we have found a common territory to share our values and commitments and we are delighted to begin this collaborative relationship that can take us far.” Pedro Rodríguez, founder of Sierra Blanca Estates, confirmed that “we are delighted to have Antonio Banderas as a prescriber. The best ambassador for Malaga, with countless international awards including the recent award for best actor at the Cannes Film Festival. He is involved in a very personal and decisive way in large projects for the city such as the CaixaBank Soho Theatre, which is an extraordinary international cultural attraction for Malaga.”
Antonio Banderas has expressed his enthusiasm about the Picasso Towers project, as it reflects his vision of the future for the city of Malaga.
Banderas spent a few days in Malaga and took the opportunity to exchange views on the project with those responsible for it and to close the agreement for the development campaign, which will be carried out by Malaga agency El Cuartel, responsible for Picasso Towers’ global image. Banderas will once again express his most Picassian profile; a lover of art, beauty, gastronomy, light and the Malaga sea. A campaign will be launched next July that aims to promote the name of his city to every corner of the planet.
Picasso Towers project
Metrovacesa and Sierra Blanca Estates have come together to give life to the Picasso Towers project through a synergy that brings a new quality and luxury concept to Malaga. The project places Malaga in a privileged location as a cosmopolitan city, innovative and meeting the expectations of any citizen of the world.
It consists of three super-luxury towers designed by Carlos Lamela, the architect of this project in which the environment is integrated with the proximity to the sea. This privileged urban and geographical location, on the west coast of Malaga (Torre del Río), is especially valued, as are its energy efficiency, environmental sustainability and accessibility criteria.
The Picasso Towers project is designed with a vertical architecture to make the best use of space and provide a sense of freedom with spectacular sea views. The shape of the design resembles the movement of sea waves creating spaces full of light.
The development, even though sales have not yet begun, has already captured the attention of local entrepreneurs as well as those from all around the world who wish to have their home in Malaga with the quality of life that this entails, while at the same time being in connection with the whole world.
The urban complex will be 86,963 m² and will consist of three residential towers with 21 stories each. The project will house a total of 213 homes between 132 m² and 404 m², and will have large terraces overlooking the Malaga Coast. The first tower, called ‘Living’, will have three swimming pools; one heated and two outdoor; spa; gym; private movie theatre; games room, coworking area and even a crèche. The properties will be smart homes that are adapted to the latest technologies. This urban complex is expected to be finalised in 2023, although the first homes will begin to be delivered at the end of 2021.
