Tenerife, 29th November 2024. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with more than 100 years of history and 114 projects under development nationwide, has presented its new residential development, Abora, located in the heart of Tenerife’s Costa Adeje, in Playa Paraiso. Residencial Abora offers 138 exclusive multi-family homes, with options from one to three bedrooms, distributed in a modern five-storey building. Each home, designed with comfort and functionality in mind, stands out for its spacious terraces with sea views, as well as garage and storage room. For the development of the project, the developer estimates an investment of 55.5 million euros.
With a wide variety of orientations and layouts, these homes adapt to the needs and lifestyles of each family, with communal areas that invite you to enjoy an active and communal life, such as a gym, a swimming pool, a community room and a terrace, located on the top floor, for residents to enjoy the views. Each space is carefully designed for the well-being of the users.
The project was officially presented at the H10 Atlantic Sunset Hotel, located on Avenida de Adeje, in Playa Paraiso. The event was led by Luis Miguel Pascual, the company’s territorial delegate, who shared the details of this exclusive project with the attendees.
‘Abora’, the name chosen for this promotion is inspired by the word used by the aboriginal Canary Islanders to refer to the God of the sun, conveying the energy and majesty of the sun in this area of the island, as well as the vitality and warmth that characterise this privileged location in front of the sea.
Sustainability and comfort
In its commitment to sustainability, Metrovacesa has designed Abora following a series of environmental standards that combine comfort, efficiency and innovation. This is reflected in the integration of renewable energies, eco-efficient building materials and advanced air conditioning systems that respect the environment and optimise energy consumption.
The project incorporates passive solutions, such as exteriors and roofs with indigenous vegetation, high quality thermal and acoustic insulation, and double glazing for reinforced insulation to maximise energy efficiency. In addition, future residents will enjoy homes designed with energy-efficient LED lighting in all communal areas, efficient sanitary devices and aerothermal systems for hot water production.
These are some of the measures that allow Abora to achieve an A energy rating – the highest – by guaranteeing low levels of energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. A commitment that not only reduces the environmental impact, but also ensures significant economic benefits, improving the quality of life of families.
Unique setting on the Adeje Coast
Located just 200 metres from the sea, the new Residencial Abora is located in one of the most sought-after areas of the island, combining the tranquillity of Playa Paraíso with the proximity to a wide range of services such as health centres, shops, restaurants and a variety of leisure options. In addition, its proximity to protected natural areas allows you to enjoy nature to the full.
This project joins various initiatives that Metrovacesa has carried out in the Canary Islands in recent years. Among those delivered are Ancor in Tenerife, as well as Betancuria and Tamadaba I in Gran Canaria. The company is also developing other projects such as Ancor II and Agama, currently in the marketing phase, in Tenerife, together with Tamadaba II, also in the marketing phase, and Sansofí, which is in the delivery phase, in Gran Canaria. In total, Metrovacesa has 650 homes in the archipelago.
In addition, the land portfolio in the Canary Islands also reflects the company’s growth potential, with 126,000 m² of buildable land equivalent to 1,100 homes. This strategic asset underlines Metrovacesa’s commitment to sustainable development and the generation of value in one of the most dynamic and attractive areas of the country.
