Valencia, 13 February 2024. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with over one hundred years of history and more than 150 projects under development nationwide, begins construction of Lyra Residencial. The new real estate development in the city of Valencia has 21 homes that are expected to be delivered in the first half of 2026. To complete the project, the developer is expected to invest around 7 million euros.
Lyra Residencial is located on Calle Valle de Ayora, in the new area of Benicalap, a well-known area of Valencia. Just a twenty-minute walk from the city centre and with access to multiple forms of public transport, Lyra is located in close proximity to educational centres, pharmacies, public parks and petrol stations, as well as the Arnau de Vilanova Hospital and shopping centres such as Parque Ademuz. The residential complex, which is organised over six floors, is designed to provide maximum comfort thanks to the building’s orientation, which ensures natural light and ventilation in its spaces. Fully adapted, the project includes large landscaped communal areas, swimming pool and children’s play area. The homes, with between two and four bedrooms, include large terraces and access to storage rooms and garages for residents. The development has been entirely designed by the Valencian studio EAP Arquitectura. To achieve the project, they have conceived the complex on the basis of sustainability, the latest qualities and avant-garde design.
In line with Metrovacesa’s commitment to the communities and the environment, the development has an AA energy rating thanks to hydrocarbon reduction technologies and the production of clean energy through aerothermal mechanisms, photovoltaic panels and glazing on façades with greater exposure. In the homes, savings are ensured thanks to low-consumption lighting and sanitary fittings, insulation and efficient waste management.
It should be noted that, thanks to the actions carried out during the design process of the development, the equivalent of 18 trees have been preserved. This initiative is in addition to Metrovacesa’s efforts to contribute to the communities, an objective that has enabled the development to be awarded the DOMUM seal, the developer’s own seal, and the Sustainable Building Green Seal.
Firm commitment to the Valencian Community
With this new project, Metrovacesa consolidates its position as one of the leading and most important developers in the Valencian Community, where it has a total of 18 active developments and offers more than 1,178 new homes. In addition, the quality of life, the wide cultural offer and the good weather characteristic of the Mediterranean coast make the Valencian Community a strategic and attractive area both nationally and internationally.
