  • The development of this promotion will involve an investment of 12 million euros for the construction of 47 new homes in Benalúa Sur, a new sector with the urbanisation fully completed and open to traffic.
  • Metrovacesa thus reinforces its commitment to Alicante and specifically its commitment to this area of the city where it already has another development being marketed and a third project in the pipeline.

Alicante, 13 January 2022. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with more than one hundred years of history, has begun marketing a new project in Alicante, Residencial Thalassa, located in the Benalúa Sur sector, a new area of the city that completed its urban development work a year ago.

Residencial Thalassa, for the development of which Metrovacesa will invest 12 million euros, is a complex of 47 new-build homes with between 2 and 4 bedrooms. The project, which stands out for the quality of its first class materials, will have a communal swimming pool located on the roof of the building, with extensive views of the sea and the city. This new residential complex also stands out for its location, in a newly created neighbourhood in the city, a unique area with large green spaces, very close to the Port, the city centre and with excellent road and public transport links, just 5 minutes from the train station.

In its commitment to the integration of sustainability in all its developments, Metrovacesa will include in this project different environmental criteria, with special emphasis on the thermal insulation of the homes and equipped with a highly efficient hot water production system such as aerothermal energy, two elements that allow significant energy savings. This residential complex will also have an exclusive bicycle parking area to encourage the use of this means of transport and to take advantage of the recent implementation of the bicycle lane network in the city, as well as the pre-installation of a charging system for electric vehicles.

The launch of this new project will give a new boost to the development of the Benalúa Sur sector, where the company already has another development underway, the Adamar Building, which has 52 homes with 60% of sales to be delivered in 2023, and has already applied for a licence for a third project in the same sector.

With this new project, Metrovacesa also reinforces its commitment to the Valencian Community, a strategic enclave within the company’s business plan, where it has 22 active developments and offers more than 1,000 new homes, responding to the demand for new housing in the region.
