Madrid, March 02, 2023. Metrovacesa and GBCe, the leading sustainable building organization in Spain, have given today a training course on sustainability and how the application of their certifications improves the organization of the works, as well as the quality of the homes in terms of sustainability. The course was aimed at the projects and sustainability team, site technicians and business managers who have been able to develop their knowledge and solve their doubts and queries about the application of the VERDE Seal in Metrovacesa’s developments.
In its commitment to the transformation towards a sustainable sector, this initiative is part of the collaboration agreement signed in December 2021 with GBCe with the aim of carrying out the transfer of specific knowledge in the field of sustainability in construction to the projects to be executed by Metrovacesa. The aim is to achieve a balance between the economic, social and environmental objectives of the business activity. Specialist teams in the field will be integrated into the work so that they can contribute their knowledge to each project.
In this sense, the training has been aimed at raising awareness of the VERDE certification system and the benefits it brings to housing and future owners, and in particular how to manage the VERDE seal during the construction phase.
