Madrid, 16 April 2024. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with more than 100 years of history and 141 projects under development nationwide, has obtained the building permit for Residencial Azahara, its development in the town of Valdemoro, in the Community of Madrid. The project is expected to require an initial investment of 19.6 million euros.

Located 20 minutes’ walk from the centre of Valdemoro, Residencial Azahara is in an area with good public transport connections, surrounded by parks, hospitals, as well as educational and sports centres.

The new residential complex will have 94 multi-family dwellings with between 2 and 4 bedrooms with spacious rooms, storage room and garage. Designed by the Antonio Palomo architecture studio, the developer offers homes of various typologies, meeting the different needs of its clients.

In addition, the development also offers the option to personalise rooms in the home, such as the kitchen, which can be semi-open or open to the living room, depending on the preferences and needs of future residents. The complex includes a swimming pool, communal areas with large green spaces and children’s play areas, paddle tennis court, gourmet room and gymnasium.

At the forefront of innovation and sustainability

Based on a design that prioritises comfort and innovation, Residencial Azahara incorporates the latest technology in efficient air conditioning and air quality systems, as well as construction solutions to optimise energy consumption.

It also includes a centralised aerothermal system with photovoltaic panels for the production of heating and hot water. All this translates into a 50% reduction inCO2 emissions, achieving economic savings of up to 30% compared to a gas boiler production system.

Thus, true to its commitment to the environment, Metrovacesa designs buildings that respect and improve the environment. Proof of this are the A-A certificates for emissions and efficiency of this development, in addition to the developer’s own DOMUM and the Green Seal that accredits it as a Sustainable Building.
