Metrovacesa begins construction of Altos de Parque Serralta, a new housing complex in Barakaldo, Bizkaia

• For the development of this project, Metrovacesa will invest 32.6 million euros, which represents a great commitment to the revitalization and improvement of the supply of new housing in the second city of Bizkaia.

• This project is located in Serralta Park, a privileged natural space of 57,000 m2 already under construction that will include a wide variety of tree species, extensive walkways and children’s play areas.

• The development will have 121 homes, mainly with two and three bedrooms, distributed in four free-standing buildings of six, eight and nine stories.

Bilbao, December 15, 2022. Metrovacesa, the leading real estate developer in Spain with more than 100 years of history, has started work on a new project in Barakaldo, in the province of Bizkaia. This development, christened Altos de Parque Serralta, will consist of 121 new homes and is located at the top of one of the most attractive areas of the city at present, Parque Serralta. For the development of this new residential project in the city, Metrovacesa will invest 32.6 million euros with financing from Kutxabank.

Altos de Parque Serralta will be developed by the construction company Eraikuntza Birgaikuntza Artapena (EBA). This new Metrovacesa project demonstrates its commitment to boosting the supply of new housing in the city, as well as its commitment to being present in new areas of expansion, as is the case of Barakaldo.

Serralta Park has acquired great prominence in recent years, as it is one of the most important urban developments of the last decade and will mean a great economic and social boost, especially for the neighborhoods of Lutxana, Llano and Cruces. The area has 57,000 square meters of green areas, a great natural treasure, a place for recreation and leisure for the citizens.

The development will include housing models adapted to different needs, from smaller two-bedroom apartments to three-bedroom homes. The homes in Altos de Parque Serralta all have a double orientation, which will provide the homes with plenty of light, as well as spacious terraces and clear views, and garages and storage rooms.
