Seville, May 14, 2026.

Metrovacesa, one of the leading real estate developers in Spain, with more than 100 years of history, has obtained the building permit to start the construction of Residencial Fuji, its new development in Isla Natura, in the area of Palmas Altas (Seville). The granting of the municipal permit allows the activation of an investment of 21 million euros and to move forward with the development of 71 new homes.

“Obtaining the license allows us to continue advancing in the development of Isla Natura, a key area for residential growth in Seville and one of the main areas of residential expansion in the city,” said Marcos Relaño Mosquera, Manager of Developments in Western Andalusia at Metrovacesa.

The project is being developed in a context of balanced evolution of the residential market in Seville. According to the Metrovacesa R3search analysis, the province is among the few in Spain where the production of new housing is managing to keep pace with the growth in demand, favoring a more stable evolution of prices and a more sustainable access to housing.

Residencial Fuji will comprise 71 homes of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms, with large terraces, parking spaces and storage rooms. The development will have complete common areas, including a swimming pool, landscaped areas and spaces for leisure and family enjoyment. The design of the project is committed to contemporary architecture, with bright spaces and layouts designed for comfort and functionality in day-to-day life.

A new neighborhood for the Seville of the future

The development is part of Isla Natura, the largest residential development in the city of Seville and one of the main sustainable urban development projects in Spain. Located in Palmas Altas, to the south of the city, the area covers 67 hectares and includes nearly 2,900 homes, with an overall investment of 400 million euros.

The new neighborhood, mainly promoted by Metrovacesa, combines free and subsidized housing and has been conceived as an environment of high urban quality, with ample green areas, facilities and sustainable mobility solutions, consolidating Seville’s southward expansion.

In terms of sustainability, Residencial Fuji incorporates solutions aimed at improving the energy efficiency and comfort of the homes, including high-performance construction systems, advanced thermal and acoustic insulation, and the use of efficient technologies that contribute to reducing energy consumption and emissions.
