Metrovacesa accelerates sales of its development in Barberà del Vallés, which is nearing completion of the urbanisation work

• Metrovacesa foresees an investment of 24.5 million euros for the development of this promotion, which is already completing the urbanisation works.

• Edificí Barberá, consisting of 107 homes, is an example of sustainable construction as it has the highest energy ratings.

Barcelona, 07 June 2023. Metrovacesa, a real estate developer with more than 100 years of history and more than 120 projects under development nationwide, is making progress in sales at Edifici Barberà, one of its real estate projects in the Barcelona municipality of Barberà del Vallés, whose urban development works are at 90%.

The complex, for which the developer foresees an investment of 24.5 million euros, is made up of two buildings in which 89 multi-family dwellings with 2 and 3 bedrooms are distributed, as well as 18 subsidised housing units.

On the one hand, the Edifici Barberà development has a 9-storey tower building with 39 ground-floor flats with excellent views, combined with interiors decorated in a modern architectural style. On the other hand, at the confluence of carretera Barcelona and Rambla Europa, is the Edificio L building, comprising 68 homes, distributed over 6 floors and 2 penthouses with views of the communal area and Rambla Europa.

In addition, the future owners will be able to enjoy communal swimming pool, playground, as well as garages and storage rooms located in the two basement floors of the complex. The complex has already finished the playground and the planting, and the works of adaptation of the existing warehouse and the finishing of the installation are being carried out.

The complex, as well as the rest of those under construction nationwide, takes into account the site, adapting its characteristics to ensure the preservation of the place in which it is located. For this reason, Metrovacesa has entrusted the design of both buildings to the architectural studio Farrés Frias, originally from Barcelona, with more than 20 years of experience in urban management and residential construction.

In line with Metrovacesa’s commitment to sustainability, Edifici Barberà has the highest energy ratings: Energy consumption energy certification A; Emissions (CO2) energy rating A; DOMUM – Metrovacesa’s own seal of sustainability – and the Green Seal for Sustainable Building.

Metrovacesa has opened a point of sale close to the plot where it has recreated rooms of a typical home on a real scale, something that allows the buyer to better understand the use of the surfaces.
