Seville, July 7, 2026. Metrovacesa, one of Spain’s leading real estate developers, with over a century of history, has begun construction on Residencial Moncayo, a new development located in Isla Natura—the urban development the company is spearheading in Palmas Altas, which is establishing itself as one of Seville’s new residential landmarks.

The project will involve an investment of 13.3 million euros and will consist of 40 three- and four-bedroom units spread across a five-story building. Designed to offer spaciousness, natural light, and comfort, the development will feature large terraces, a communal pool, landscaped areas, a playground, garages, and storage units, creating a residential complex focused on the well-being and quality of life of its future owners.

The homes have been designed to meet the current needs of families, combining spacious layouts, functional floor plans, and a high level of energy efficiency in a newly developed urban setting that aims to become one of the most attractive areas in the Andalusian capital.

“The start of construction on Residencial Moncayo marks another step forward in the development of Isla Natura and reflects Metrovacesa’s commitment to creating quality housing in strategic, sustainable locations that are equipped to meet the needs of the cities of the future,” said Juan Sánchez Navarro, Development Manager for Metrovacesa’s Western Andalusia branch.

Residencial Moncayo, a residential development designed to let you enjoy the space

Residencial Moncayo has been designed for those seeking spacious and versatile homes without sacrificing their connection to the city. The development will offer 3- and 4-bedroom units with a special emphasis on outdoor spaces, thanks to spacious terraces oriented to maximize natural light and ensure comfort year-round.

The project also includes extensive common areas for residents to enjoy, including a community pool, landscaped areas, and a playground. In addition, the homes will offer various customization options that will allow buyers to tailor finishes and interior layouts to their individual preferences.

Isla Natura: Metrovacesa’s Commitment to Sustainable Growth in Seville

Residencial Moncayo is part of Isla Natura, the large-scale urban development project promoted by Metrovacesa in Palmas Altas. Conceived as a next-generation neighborhood, the area spans more than 67 hectares and has been designed with sustainability, environmental regeneration, and urban quality in mind.

Located south of Los Bermejales, between the Guadalquivir and Guadaíra rivers, Isla Natura is poised to become one of Seville’s main hubs of residential growth. The project includes extensive green spaces, more than 4,200 trees, educational, sports, and community facilities, as well as an extensive network of pedestrian and bicycle paths designed to promote more sustainable mobility.

In addition, the development will be strategically located near some of the main hubs of activity in the southern part of the city, such as the Lagoh shopping center and the future City of Justice, and will have excellent connections to the rest of Seville and its metropolitan area.

With Residencial Moncayo, Metrovacesa continues to build on Isla Natura’s reputation as a new model for a sustainable neighborhood, designed to offer a high quality of life and meet the needs of new generations of residents.

Energy Efficiency and Sustainability

In line with the principles that characterize Metrovacesa’s developments, Residencial Moncayo will incorporate solutions designed to maximize energy efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of the homes.

The development will have an A energy rating for both non-renewable primary energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. It will also feature energy-efficient HVAC systems, LED lighting in common areas, high-performance construction solutions, and measures designed to improve the thermal and acoustic insulation of the homes.

These measures will reduce energy consumption, improve indoor comfort, and contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way of living.
