Oviedo, 17 July 2025. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with more than 100 years of history, has begun marketing Residencial Nyx, its new development in the city of Oviedo. With an estimated investment of 14 million euros, this project is the company’s second development in the Asturian capital, following the launch of Residencial Vesta, currently under construction.
Designed by the architecture studio Unelma V.D.S. Consulting, Residencial Nyx will consist of 64 multi-family dwellings distributed in two blocks, with 2 and 3-bedroom typologies. All the homes will include large terraces, parking space and storage room, and are designed to make the most of natural light. The development will have communal areas that will include a multi-purpose community room, as well as a swimming pool and gymnasium.
Commitment to sustainability
True to its commitment to sustainable construction, Metrovacesa has designed Residencial Nyx to the highest standards of energy efficiency. The homes will have an “A” energy rating, high levels of thermal and acoustic insulation, carpentry with thermal break and low-emission glass.
In addition, the project incorporates a centralised aerothermal system, with photovoltaic solar panels as support for the production of domestic hot water, and a radiant floor heating system regulated by rooms. LED lighting in communal areas completes this sustainable approach, in line with Metrovacesa’s Domum commitment, aimed at promoting more environmentally responsible, efficient and healthy buildings for its residents.
A strategic location in Oviedo
Located in the area of Los Prados de la Vega, Residencial Nyx is situated in a consolidated residential area that stands out for its tranquillity, proximity to the provincial hospital (HUCA) and good connection to the city centre. The development offers easy access to services such as schools, supermarkets and sports centres, as well as excellent connections to the main roads in and out of the city.
