Sevilla, 28th May 2024. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with over one hundred years of history and more than 115 projects under development nationwide, has obtained the building permit for Villas del Támesis, a project of 50 semi-detached and semi-detached single-family homes in Isla Natura, the latest single-family housing development in Seville’s new eco-neighbourhood. With an investment of more than €19 million by the developer, work is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

Villas del Támesis is a development designed by Hombre de Piedra Arquitectos. The homes have a surface area of 158 m2 distributed over two floors and a basement. They also include four bedrooms, spacious living rooms and the option of a kitchen distributed in a peninsula to give a greater sense of spaciousness. With double ventilation systems and a garden with the option of installing a private swimming pool, the rooms are designed to make the most of as much light as possible as a measure of energy efficiency and to provide greater warmth.

The single-family homes allow for the modification of finishes and materials, of the best quality on the market, thanks to Metrovacesa’s ‘Choose your look’ tool for adapting to the tastes of the future inhabitants. Furthermore, in line with the company’s commitment to innovation, the development has home automation systems and the installation of charging points for electric vehicles, among others.

Villas del Támesis complies with strict sustainability standards, such as the developer’s own Green Seal for Sustainable Housing or DOMUM. In addition, they have A-A ratings for consumption and emissions. As proof of this commitment, the homes are equipped with photovoltaic panels to generate energy, double-glazed windows with solar control and low-consumption equipment.

To reduce the environmental impact, Metrovacesa goes one step further with policies such as the efficient management of waste generated during construction, as well as the use of native flora or similar in the development after a specific study to reduce the urban heat island effect.
