Metrovacesa obtains the building permit for its first development in Viladecans: Oliveretes Viladecans
- Oliveretes, for the development of which the company will invest 20.7 million euros, consolidates its position as the first new-build development in Viladecans.
- The developer continues to reaffirm its presence in Catalonia and reinforces its objective of being one of the driving forces behind the supply of new housing in the region.
Barcelona, 09 March 2022. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with more than 100 years of history, has obtained the building permit for its new development in Viladecans, a residential complex of 95 homes with between 1 and 4 bedrooms, for which the developer has invested 20.7 million euros.
Oliveretes Viladecans is distributed in two isolated buildings, strategically oriented and designed in a modern architectural style. The homes have large terraces and have between one and four bedrooms.
The residential complex is complemented by a large communal area with gardens, swimming pool, children’s play area and paddle tennis court. In addition, there are plans for commercial premises on certain ground floors of the buildings. All kinds of facilities that invite you to relax and improve the quality of life of the future owners.
The development is located in the northeast area of Viladecans, with good connections to Barcelona and close to green areas such as the Torre-Roja park or the Montbaig CAP. This extension of the city represents a unique value opportunity for young people in the city who want to become independent and for families looking for a replacement home, as well as a great option for the purchase of new-build housing close to the city of Barcelona, where there is currently a strong tension in housing prices and little supply.
For the design of the development, Metrovacesa has placed its trust in Batlle & Roig, a nationally renowned architectural firm that stands out for having developed very important projects in Catalonia based on sustainability. An example of this is the design of numerous parks, such as the Parc de la Marina in Viladecans, which urbanises the abandoned Sant Climent stream, as well as residential and care buildings and shopping centres.
Commitment to Catalonia
With this project, Metrovacesa reinforces its commitment to the residential market in Catalonia, where it currently offers more than 1,400 new homes in 22 developments.
