Seville, June 9th, 2026. Metrovacesa, one of the leading real estate developers in Spain, with more than one hundred years of history, has obtained the building permit for Torre Althea, its new residential development located in the area of Cruz del Campo, in the Sevillian district of Nervión. The project, which will involve a total investment of 30.7 million euros, will comprise 89 homes with 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms distributed in an 11-story building designed to integrate residential comfort, sustainability and urban connection.

“With Torre Althea we continue to strengthen our commitment to Seville and to one of the urban areas with the greatest residential projection in the city. The project responds to a growing demand for quality housing in well-connected environments, with spacious common areas and a proposal oriented towards wellbeing and family life,” says David Leon Macias, Development Manager of Metrovacesa’s Western Andalusia delegation.

A new residential development in the area surrounding Cruz del Campo

Torre Althea is the third development promoted by Metrovacesa in the Cruz del Campo area, together with Torremagna and Torrenova, thus consolidating the company’s presence in one of Seville’s new residential areas.

The development will have 89 homes of 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms with large terraces, distributed in a first floor building plus 11 floors, and will include a communal swimming pool, social lounge, landscaped areas, children’s playground and 114 parking spaces.

The project has been conceived to offer a residential experience oriented to comfort and daily well-being, through spacious, bright and functional spaces that integrate interior and exterior through large windows and open terraces.

Sustainability and energy efficiency

Torre Althea will incorporate sustainability and energy efficiency measures aligned with Metrovacesa’s environmental commitment. The development will have the Domum seal and AA energy rating, integrating efficient air conditioning systems, renewable energies, LED lighting and construction solutions aimed at optimizing energy consumption and the interior comfort of the homes.

In addition, the project will incorporate eco-efficient materials, controlled natural and mechanical ventilation, energy-efficient sanitary devices and provision for electric vehicle charging.

Seville maintains balanced residential growth

Torre Althea’s construction permit was obtained in a context of a strong residential market in Seville, driven by demographic growth, the creation of new homes and a developer activity that is able to respond to the increase in demand.

According to the latest Metrovacesa R3search analysis, Seville has generated more than 8,600 new homes in the last 12 months, while new building permits have exceeded 10,900 homes, making it one of the most balanced markets between supply and demand in Spain. This situation is allowing housing prices, at 2,800 €/m2, to maintain a growth rate of 7.5% YoY, lower than the national average.

In this context, Torre Althea will contribute to expanding the quality residential offer in Cruz del Campo, one of the main areas of urban transformation in the city.
