Metrovacesa, one of the leading real estate developers in Spain, with more than one hundred years of history, has started the commercialization of Medblue 4, a new residential project located in the upper part of Los Monteros, in Marbella. The development, which will involve a total investment of 26.3 million euros, consists of 59 apartments and duplex penthouses with 2 and 3 bedrooms distributed in three contemporary design blocks.

Despite the recovery in development activity, supply is still insufficient to meet the growth in demand. Between 2021 and 2025, 55k new homes have been created in the province, while new building approvals have barely reached 42k homes, generating an accumulated deficit of 12k homes. This structural imbalance between supply and demand continues to put pressure on prices and highlights the need to continue to increase residential production over the next few years to reduce the existing deficit.
