- With this new project, the developer improves the possibilities of access to new housing in the city, where this offer is scarce and specifically in this neighbourhood, where no new projects have been developed for years.
- Edificio Parque Eirís will consist of 111 homes with parking space and storage room, with excellent views and next to a large urban park.
- The project has been designed with the utmost respect for the environment and will use materials that will maximise energy savings in the homes.
A Coruña, 14 March 2022. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer, has recently obtained the building permit for its second development in A Coruña Capital, Edificio Parque Eirís. For the development of this new residential complex, the company will make an investment of more than 20 million euros, with which it intends to satisfy the demand for new construction in the city and more specifically in the Eirís neighbourhood, where no residential buildings have been developed for years.
The project, which is expected to deliver homes in April 2024, is located within the urban fabric on Avenida de Lamadosa, next to the Eirís park, which has a large children’s play area, an urban vegetable garden and long paths to walk along. It is also worth mentioning the proximity of the provincial hospital of La Coruña and the scarce 6 minutes that separate it from the Club Marítimo de Oza.
Parque Eirís will be made up of 111 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes with parking space and storage room. In addition, the complex stands out for being located on an elevated plot of land, with good views over the neighbourhood of flowers, Matogrande and the A Coruña estuary.
In line with its objectives of sustainability and energy efficiency, Metrovacesa has opted for sustainable construction and has incorporated in this project solutions such as the installation of an aerothermal system, which is based on heat pump technology that extracts energy from the outside air, with the intention of reducing the emission of CO2 into the atmosphere and covering a large part of the water demand through this renewable system.
For the design of the project, Metrovacesa has entrusted the prestigious architectural firm Arqnova, led by Ignacio Pedrosa, who has extensive experience in the development of urban plans and residential developments in the city of A Coruña.
A firm commitment to A Coruña
With the construction of this new project in A Coruña, the company reinforces its commitment to Galicia and specifically to A Coruña, a city where it already has another development, Xardins da Gaiteira, a 69-home project in the construction phase that is progressing at a solid pace. Metrovacesa also wants to continue contributing to the reactivation of the real estate market in A Coruña and is currently promoting the Percebeiras and San Pedro de Visma areas with the local authorities and the other owners. This shows the strategic importance and the company’s firm commitment to this market with so much potential and demand.
