Metrovacesa starts work on Marella Puig in Valencia

Valencia, 23 June 2025. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with more than 100 years of history, has started work on the Marella Puig development in El Puig, Valencia. The project, which involves an investment of 6.8 million euros, will be executed by ACSA OBRAS E INFRAESTRUCTURAS SAU.

Marella Puig includes 18 semi-detached houses and one detached house, all of them with 4 bedrooms. The homes have a private plot and garden, with the possibility of incorporating an individual swimming pool. Each unit is distributed over three floors and includes bedrooms, private garage, living-dining room with integrated kitchen and outdoor terrace.

 

Commitment to sustainability

The homes have been designed in accordance with the Technical Building Code and aspire to obtain an “A” energy rating, both in terms of energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. The project incorporates double façades in most of the typologies, which favours cross ventilation and the use of natural sunlight, thus reducing energy demand.

The electrical installations will comply with the Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulations. In addition, the domestic hot water system will be based on aerothermal energy, a technology that uses renewable energy and incorporates individual consumption meters. This contributes to reducing the environmental impact and optimising the energy efficiency of the residential complex.

These features allow Marella Puig to obtain “A” energy certification, in line with Metrovacesa’s Domum commitment, its Green Seal for Sustainable Building Rating and the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) applied to the project.

 

Privileged location facing the Mediterranean

The development is located in front of the Mediterranean Sea and a short distance from the Serra Calderona Natural Park, combining a coastal environment with natural mountain scenery. El Puig is less than 10 minutes by car or bus from the town centre, where residents have access to all essential services: health centre, shops, supermarkets, pharmacies and schools. Furthermore, the development is located just 20 kilometres from the centre of Valencia, which guarantees excellent connectivity with the capital.
