Metrovacesa will showcase 14 new-build developments at the ninth Barcelona Meeting Point (BMP) international property exhibition in the city. These developments make up a total of 900 homes throughout Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. All of them feature exclusive design, backed by premier architects and created to the highest standards of innovation, quality and sustainability, in the best locations.
The developments that stand out among the various developments that you can find in the exhibition hall, are: the Edifici Navas 310 in Barcelona, Edifici Llull 495 in the Port Fórum area and the Jardins de Llevant, located in the Llevant sector of Palma de Mallorca, next to the Es Portitxol port.
The exhibition, which opens on Thursday 25th and lasts until Sunday 28th, will offer visitors the opportunity to get to know all Metrovacesa’s developments in detail, at first hand. In all the company is showcasing 14 developments in several locations. Ten of them are in the province of Barcelona and one in the capital itself: Edifici Navas 310, in the Sant Andreu district. The other nine are in different municipalities of the province: Sabadell (Jardins de Can Gambús), Terrassa (Mirades, Metropol Parc e Illa Natura), Manresa (Mirador de Montserrat), Montornès del Vallès (Momentum and Momentum Village), Sant Adrià de Besòs (Edifici Llull 495) and Arenys de Mar (Brises del Maresme).
In addition the firm will be showcasing examples of other developments in Lleida, (Imspira and Torres del Cel), in Tarragona (Torre dels Vents) and in Palma de Mallorca (Jardins de Llevant).
A unique interactive experience
As the main driver of updating the property sector with digitalisation and innovation, Metrovacesa is keen to include the “Showroom Bus” in the exhibition, a touring platform where customers can experience the project at first hand, actually going into what could be their new home, and being able to see all the details using virtual reality glasses or tangible tables. This bus, which will begin its journey at the exhibition, will travel to different places in Catalonia, such as Manresa and Terrassa, after the exhibition.
More protection in the buying process
Metrovacesa will also offer all its customers in Catalonia the chance to purchase the payment protection insurance, BE SAFE, designed to protect homebuyers from any circumstances that may arise during the period between signing the purchase contract until key handover. This insurance protects against many contingencies, from forced unemployment to more serious reasons such as permanent disability due to accident or the death by accident of one of the buyers.
In addition, the company recently signed a contract with Unísono, a multinational management and customer services company, to provide its customers with remote contracting of the various utilities needed when buying a new home — electricity, water, gas, broadband or ADSL, or a burglar alarm — using blockchain technology.
Metrovacesa will also offer its customers the opportunity to benefit from preferential prices if they agree to reserve a home during the BMP exhibition or during the Showroom Bus’s journey.
Antxon Iriondo, Metrovacesa’s Regional Director for Catalonia-the Balearics said: “Our participation in BMP is a big event for the company and a unique opportunity to form personalized experiences and relationships with our customers. Both Catalonia and the Balearic Islands are key markets for Metrovacesa, where we have committed to an outstanding number of ongoing developments. We are certain that this exhibition will enable us to continue strengthening our position as a benchmark in design and innovation in the Catalan property sector and in Spain as a whole.”
