Terrassa, 17 May 2022. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer, begins deliveries of Illa Natura, one of its real estate projects in the city of Terrassa for which it has invested 33 million euros.
The Illa Natura development comprises 180 homes with between one and four bedrooms, with a total surface area of between 53m2 and 119m2. In addition, the ground floors have a private garden. The U-shaped building is five storeys high, and the tower is seven storeys high, with views of La Mola, Collserola and even Montserrat. The vast majority of the homes are equipped with terraces of up to 81 m2 with privileged views of the Parc Grípia-Ribatallada agro-park.
The design of the common areas of Residencial Illa Natura is inspired by the Mediterranean forest, creating a continuity with this agro-park that, at the same time, enhances the architectural design of the residential complex. It also has a communal swimming pool with a saline electrolysis system and solarium.
Illa Natura is located in the Grípia area of Terrassa, one of the newly expanding areas of the city, with all the services close by, such as the Terrassa Est train station, which is just a 5-minute walk away, the Terrassa Plaça shopping centre, the Terrassa Hospital and the Les Arenes public school. It is also located next to the Green Belt, an area of 4,400 hectares of great environmental, landscape and cultural value.
On this occasion, Metrovacesa has entrusted the Barcelona studio Bailo Rull ADD Arquitectura to carry out the design of Illa Natura, which is characterised by combining open spaces and green areas to enhance the natural environment in which it is located. Likewise, and taking into account the highest sustainability standards, Illa Natura is designed to make the most of the light, favouring natural ventilation inside the rooms and creating a sensation of transition between the interior and exterior of the home.
