Metrovacesa obtains planning permission for Metropolitan II, 47 multi-family dwellings in Cordoba

Córdoba, May 30, 2023 Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with more than 100 years of history and more than 120 projects under development nationwide, has obtained the construction permit for its Metropolitan II project. The developer has already begun construction work on this project, for which it expects to invest a total of 9 million euros. This second phase of Metropolitan, the marketing of which began in February, strengthens the developer’s presence in Córdoba Capital, where it has 107 homes in the PP-05 sector, one of the city’s main commercial areas.

Under a geometric architecture, Metropolitan II will consist of two ground floor buildings in which 47 multi-family dwellings will be distributed, with 1 to 4 bedrooms with terraces, private gardens with play areas for children and a communal swimming pool. In addition, the complex will make available to future owners up to 56 parking spaces and 50 storage rooms.

Metropolitan II is located in the PP-05 sector, just 100 meters from the El Corte Inglés shopping center, the main shopping area in Cordoba. The development has access to all kinds of services such as sports, education and leisure centers, as well as public transportation.

Metrovacesa has entrusted the Cordovan architectural firm, Manuel López, to design this development. An avant-garde project with orientation and panoramic views of the mountains, which, thanks to the studio’s specialized urban planning technicians, is perfectly integrated into the environment. A design for the construction of which high quality materials will be used to guarantee functionality, durability and care.

In line with its commitment to sustainable construction, Metrovacesa has awarded Metropolitan II the Domum seal – the developer’s own brand of sustainable commitment, which guarantees energy efficiency, adaptation to climate and landscape characteristics and circular economy. In addition, the project has been certified with the Green Seal for Sustainable Building and will have a BB energy certification or higher, as will the rest of the works started from 2023 onwards.
