Madrid, 23 May 2024. Metrovacesa, the leading real estate developer in Spain, with more than one hundred years of history and more than 115 projects under development nationwide, has been recognised by TECHNAL at the Construmat Fair for its commitment to sustainability. This award recognises METROVACESA’s commitment to the use of recycled aluminium by incorporating recycled and recyclable carpentry in our developments in Sagunto in Valencia. In this way, Metrovacesa continues to promote and support circularity and the decarbonisation of the sector. The award was received by David Sierra Lluch, Director of Projects and Sustainability at Metrovacesa.
During the Construmat Fair, TECHNAL presented the Circularity Awards, which highlight architecture studios, developers and construction companies that integrate sustainability into the core of their projects. The use of certified recycled aluminium allows these projects to significantly reduce CO2 emissions, promoting a more sustainable future for the construction industry.
Thanks to TECHNAL Spain for the recognition and the effort they are making to improve their products every day.
