Barcelona, 17 July 2024. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with over one hundred years of history and more than 150 projects under development nationwide, has begun marketing Nou Vallparadís, its new new new-build project in Terrassa. The project has involved an investment of 31.7 million euros by the developer, which expects to start delivering its homes in 2028.
Nou Vallparadís is Metrovacesa’s new development in Terrassa, just a few kilometres from the city of Barcelona. It is located in the Segle XX neighbourhood, in the midst of urban development and, specifically, in the vicinity of Vallparadís Park, the largest in the city. Close to leisure and commercial areas, as well as educational, sports and transport services, the development is located in a strategic area of Terrassa for the maximum comfort of its future inhabitants in the development of their daily activities.
Designed by Binarq Arquitectos, the development has 142 homes with between one and four bedrooms distributed in four buildings. With different orientations to suit individual needs, these units are linked by large private communal areas, a garden, children’s play area and outdoor swimming pool. The homes, all of which have large terraces and access to a garage and storage room, offer different layouts with open-plan living and customisation options.
The avant-garde design of the building, which also fits in with its surroundings, combines comfort and the highest standards of sustainability. The use of improved construction solutions optimises energy consumption, as well as the use of efficient devices and cutting-edge air conditioning systems, and means that the building meets A-A standards in terms of efficiency and consumption. Among other actions, passive measures have been incorporated into the design process, implementing renewable energy systems, efficient air conditioning systems and eco-efficient building materials, among others. With these initiatives, not only is the home more environmentally friendly, but the future inhabitant of Nou Vallparadís will be able to reduce their annual energy expenditure and thus their emissions footprint.
