Madrid, 16 November 2023. Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with over one hundred years of history and 120 projects under development in Spain,  was sponsor of the 1st Inmomat Real Estate Congress held by the Madrid College of Architects (COAM) with the aim of bringing together leading figures in real estate development, residential architecture and public administration to discuss the present and future of housing in Madrid.

During the first day, inaugurated by the Mayor of Madrid and the Vice-Minister of Housing, Transport and Infrastructures of the Community of Madrid, the forum “The future of cities and urban policies” was held, with the participation of the Director of Land of Metrovacesa, Miguel Díaz.

In his speech, our Land Director highlighted how the company promotes sustainable urban development through participatory urban planning and how it applies various keys to sustainability in its projects, such as urban regeneration, compactness, mix of uses, sustainable mobility and ecological urban design based on resilient infrastructures and the promotion of biodiversity.
